Baratang, Jan 09: Dense fog has been reported from various areas of North and Middle Andaman, which in some occasions is also obstructing the movement of ATR Traffic.
According to details, due to dense fog the vehicle ferry at Middle Strait could not be operated till 6.40 AM today and hence the first convoy left Middle Strait Check Post only by 7.11 AM, instead of 6.30 AM.
Meanwhile, dense fog has also been reported from Diglipur region. According to reports on Monday after 9.00 PM entire Diglipur area was enveloped by dense fog. Such fog is also creating problems to the night riders as in some occasions visibility is cut short to about 50 meters.
