Port Blair, Dec 31: The Annual Sports of Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Port Mout was held in the school playground on 29th December 2017, at around 08.30 a.m. Smti. Baby Fareeda Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman was the Chief Guest and many special guests, Shri. Gadhadhar Mazumder,Up-Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, Smti. Preethima Kumari, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Namunaghar, Shri. Shanta Bahadur, Inspector, IRBn(HQ), Port Mout as well as the Parents, Teachers & Students were also present.
Firstly,Smti. Sita Das, Principal welcomed the gathering. The program started with the welcome song. It was followed by March Past with band group. Synchronized movement of the students was a feast to the eyes. The children presented Mass PT, Dumbles, Bouquet Drill, Pyramid, Fan Drill and Yoga. The Chief Guest & other Guests have distributed the prizes to all the winner students.The chief guest who conveyed her heartfelt thanks and appreciated the well managed programme. The other special guests also appreciated the hard work of the teachers and students. The programme came to an end with the declaration of Annual Athletic Meet closed by the Chief Guest. At last the vote of thanks proposed by Smti. Sabita Devi, Teacher, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Port Mout.
