Port Blair, Dec 29: The 03 day in-service training programme for the Scout/Cub Masters, Guide Captains and Flock leaders of the Scout & Guides Wing of Wimberlygunj Zone being organized at Govt. Middle School, Kanyapuram from 27th December, 2017 came to an end on 29.12.2017. Mr. Lucas Robert, Deputy Education Officer, Wimberlygunj was the Chief Guest on the closing ceremony. The DEO expressed satisfaction over the successful conduct of 03 day in-service programme and encouraged the Scout Masters and Guides to inculcate the training imparted during various sessions of the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. V.Ranjith Kumar, Assistant Director(Sports) urged the Scout Master/Guide Captains to begin the scout activities in their respective schools and render their services towards the society. Leader of the course Mr. Samir Kumar Das, HWB(Scout) briefly explained about the contents of the programme and demonstrated various types of gadgets and information taught during the training programme. Mr. V.Raju, Scout Master coordinated the programme while Mr. Ram Mistry, HWB(Scout) proposed vote of thanks.
