Port Blair, Dec15: The Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.) will be on a three day visit to the Southern Group of Islands from Dec.18, 2017. He will be accompanied by the First Lady of A&N Islands, Smt. Chitra Joshi and other senior Officers of the Administration.
Accordingly, the Lt. Governor will first visit Chowra Island on Dec.18 and hold meeting with village Captains at Community Hall Chowra at 9.25 am. Thereafter, the Lt. Governor will reach Kamorta, where he will first visit the Anganwadi Center, GSSS Kamorta and PHC Kamorta. He will also hold a meeting with the Chairperson Tribal Council Kamorta, Village Headmen and the local Heads of offices at APWD Guest House at 2.30 pm.
On Dec.19, the Lt. Governor will reach Campbell Bay at 9.15 am. He will visit and inspect CHC Campbell Bay and GSSS Campbell Bay. The Lt. Governor will also hold a meeting with the PRI members and the local Heads of offices at APWD Guest House, Campbell Bay at 11.30 am. In the evening, the Lt. Governor will visit and inspect South Bay.
The Lt. Governor will visit Teressa Island on Dec.20 where he will hold a meeting with the village Headmen in the Community Hall, Teressa at 9.45 am. Thereafter, the Lt. Governor will visit CHC Teressa and GSSS Teressa. After completion of his tour to the Southern Group of Islands, the Lt, Governor will return to Port Blair in the afternoon of Dec.20.
