Port Blair, Nov 27: IEI Alumni Association in collaboration with IEI West Bengal State Center is organizing first Eastern Zone (Andaman & Nicobar, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Odisha, Sikkim, Tripura, West Bengal) Alumni meet at Kolkata on 17-Dec-2017.
Therefore it is requested to the IEI Alumni those attached to the Andaman & Nicobar State Centre those who have distinguished accomplishments to their credit to submit their details to the State Centre for onward forwarding to IEI Alumni Association’s “Distinguished Alumni Awards Committee” for consideration latest by Friday, 01 December 2017. After scrutiny by the Committee those selected will be communicated and honoured at the Eastern Zone Alumni Meet.
As per the vision of The Institution of Engineers (India), about it’s Alumni, so far IEI Alumni Association has successfully organized first Southern Zone (Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu and Telangana States) Alumni meet at Chennai on 19-Mar-2017, first Western Zone (Chattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra) Alumni meet at Ahmedabad on 11-Jun-2017 and first Northern Zone (Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab & Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Utter Pradesh) Alumni meet at Delhi on 3-Sep-2017.
