Port Blair, Nov. 27: The Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, Admiral D. K. Joshi PVSM, AVSM,YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.) will be on a two-day visit to the North & Middle Andaman District from tomorrow (Nov. 28). He will be accompanied by the senior officers of the A&N Administration.
The Lt. Governor will depart for Baratang by road at 8 am tomorrow (Nov 28). At Baratang, the Lt. Governor will hold a meeting with the PRI Members and other HODs at Baratang Forest Guest House at 11 am. The Lt. Governor will also inspect the Baratang Jetty and visit Sr. Sec. School, Oral Katcha. Thereafter, the Lt. Governor will arrive at Uttara Jetty and inspect the ongoing construction work of the Bridge. The Lt. Governor will then depart for PHC Kadamtala. On the same day, the Lt. Governor will also hold meeting with the PRI members at Community Hall, Rangat, at 2.45 pm. The Lt. Governor will reach Mayabunder in the evening.
On Nov. 29, the Lt. Governor is scheduled to hold meeting with the PRI members and HODs at 8.15 am, followed by a meeting with Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad and others at 9 am at APWD Guest House, Mayabunder.
The Lt. Governor will inaugurate the newly constructed DC office at Lucknow, Mayabunder at 9.40 am. He will then visit Lalaji Bay and inaugurate Cottage Huts (Forest) there at 11.30 am. The Lt. Governor will also visit Long Island and hold a meeting with the PRI Members at Long Island Forest Guest House at 1.05 pm. In the afternoon, the Lt. Governor will visit Merk Bay Beach, North Passage Island.
After completion of the visit, the Lt. Governor will depart for Port Blair in the morning of Nov. 30, 2017.
