Port Blair, Nov 22: The Member of Parliament, Mr Bishnu Pada Ray today said that soon an Airport will also come up at Kakana Village, Kamorta.
Talking to the villagers of Birchgunj about the achievements of Modi Government at Ram Shree House situated at Birchgunj, the MP informed that the land has been donated by the Captain of the Village, Capt. Frazer James in condition of providing jobs to the residents of the village.
“Andaman has a huge threat from China and during war any Airport in Campbell Bay is destroyed or damaged the runway of Kakana Village of Kamorta Island can be utilized,” MP said. Mr Bishnu also said that most of the sensitive border Islands will also have a helipad soon.
