Port Blair, Nov 16: The students of Primary classes of Govt. Middle School, Telugu Medium,Haddo who ranked in the Annual Examination, 2017 are felicitated with “Subarna Banerjee Memorial Trophy” on the occasion of Children’s Day to mark the Birth day of PanditJawaharLal Nehru on 14.11.2017. Pranab Banerjee, (Retd. Head Master of GDMS) and other two sistersintroduced the prizes for the students of Primary classes in the memory of his mother Late Subarna Banerjee, who was an exemplary and kindhearted Teacher of Education Department.

SmtiD.llamlata, Ex Councilor of the area gave away the prizes. In this occasion, Chacha Nehru’s Portrait were garlanded and floral tributes were offered by the students, teachers and guests. of the school highlighted the message of Pandit Nehru. A small culturalprogramme also presented by the students on this occasion.

Senior Citizen of the area distributed the “SUBARNA BANERJEEMEMORIAL EDUCATIONAL KITS” among the students of the school.
