Car Nicobar, Nov 01: A case under explosives act has been registered in the Car Nicobar Police Unit yesterday.
As per reports, the owner of CK Enterprise was selling the crackers beyond the permissible limit following which the SHO Car Nicobar Police Station Inspector Sanjay Kumar Moriya along with an LGC of AC Office, Car Nicobar and a staff of Fire Services, Car Nicobar conducted the raid in the shop and seized all the crackers available.
Sources said that the shopkeeper had the permission of selling only 50kgs of cracker but during the raid around 230 kgs of Cracker was seized from the shop.
The Owner of the shop C Kartigashen was arrested on the spot and according to latest details he was released on bail today itself.
