R K Gram, Diglipur, Oct 26: A Maruti Alto bearing No AN01- J 0113 was seized by the police of Diglipur region as five occupants of the car were reportedly drinking Rice Beer openly, on the road at R K Gram, Panchayat.
Earlier they were warned by the villagers not to consume Rice Beer on the open road, close to the village, but when today again they were found consuming Rice Beer openly, the villagers complained this matter to the police, who in turn reached the spot and picked up the accused to the police station. The police team of PS Diglipur is investigating the matter further.
