Port Blair, Oct 25: The Police Department today said in a press release that the unused auto rickshaws bearing Registration No.AN01 F 5486, AN01 E 9044 and third rickshaw without number plate were obstructively parked/ abandoned at opposite to Syndicate Bank, Port Blair since more than one year which has become public nuisance.
Hence, the owners of above mentioned auto rickshaws have been requested to remove the vehicles from above mentioned place within 15 days failing which abandoned vehicles will be towed away.
“All vehicle owners are requested not to abandon their vehicles on the roads. Further, commercial vehicle owners are also directed to park their vehicles at specified parking place as mentioned by them in the affidavit while registering their vehicle. Strict action will be taken against such unauthorised parking,” the release said.
