Port Blair, Oct 22: A long cherished demand of villagers of Gram Panchayat Mannarghat was fulfilled after inauguration of the Community Hall, Wright Myo digitally by Shri Udit Prakash Rai, IAS, Secretary, RD, PRIs & ULBs/ Deputy Commissioner/DM, South Andaman District, Commissioner (GST), A & N Islands, Chairman, District Child Protection Unit, S. A. of Andaman & Nicobar Administration & Dr. Mohd. Rehan Raza, DANICS, Assistant Commissioner (HQ)/OSD (ANIIMS) in presence of Pradhan Shri O.Bashir, GP – Mannarghat and large gathering of local villagers. Earlier a warm welcome was extended to Chief Guest Shri Udit Prakash Rai, IAS & Dr. Mohd. Rehan Raza, DANICS by the local villagers by putting bouquet & shawls.

Shri Udit Prakash Rai, IAS expressed his deep satisfaction against the pace of development of Gram Panchayat, Mannarghat and utilization of the allotted funds on the meaningful way for welfare of the villagers.
Speaking on the occasion Shri O. Bashir, Pradhan stated that his commitment to the villagers on his first Gram Sabha meeting to complete the Community hall, Wright Myo was in complete shape within 02 years and today achieved the target after inaugurating the same from the hands of dignitaries by providing all requisite facilities that to be essential for any type of grand function by expensing nearly Rupees 30 lakhs from gram panchayat allotted funds. The Pradhan expressed his sincere thanks to the Officers for sparing their valuable time from busy schedule for Gram Panchayat Mannarghat.
