Port Blair, Oct 17: Two seats one each in Arts under Category-III (b) Physically Challenged and one seat in Computer Science under category-III (a) are available for admission to Two Years B.Ed. degree programme for the session 2017-18 in Tagore Govt. College of Education, Port Blair for which counseling for admission will be held on 23rd October 2017 at 9:30 a.m. in the college.
All the desirous candidates who have applied for admission to this course and whose names appear in the provisional list displayed on the College Notice Board and could not get admission earlier are informed to attend the counseling session at the time and venue mentioned above. If candidates are not available in a particular subject and category, the seats will be allotted as per the general merit already published by the College. Similarly if no candidates are available in the category, the seats will be distributed to other eligible candidates as per existing rules.
Selected Candidates shall be given admission on the same day. Those who are admitted should deposit fees and other documents on the day of admission failing which their cases for admission will not be considered.
Those who fail to attend the counseling session, on time, will not be considered for admission to the course and next eligible candidate in the merit list will be considered for admission.
