Port Blair, June 27: A 10-Day Workshop on Development of Training Module commenced today the 25th June, 2012 at conference hall of Shiksha Sadan, Port Blair at 8.30 a.m. under SSA in Collaboration with SIE. Module Preparation is a prime preparatory Foot Steps for any In Service Training Programme as it furnishes promising challenges for every Teacher Learning Process.
For this Workshop a team of Expertise / Resource Persons are selected for the Preparation of Modules i.e. for Primary (I-V) & ECCE by the DIET faculties and Senior Most / Experienced PSTs from different Schools. Whereas for Class VI-VIII and other Para Subject like RTE, Mid-Day Meals, Environmental Education, the Faculties of SIE / Senior Most / Experienced GTTs will work on this Projects.
Dr. M. Ayyaraju State Project Officer SSA, Welcomed the Chief Guest, Dr. R. Dev Das, Director of Education / State Project Director and gave a brief account of the importance of Module Preparation.
Speaking on the Occasion Dr. R. Dev Das, Director of Education emphasized on strengthening the Pre-Primary and Primary Education as this stage is the Pillar of our Education System. He also urged the Resource Person to ensure that Modules are prepared with perfection and the task should be completed in time, so that it can be transformed in the form of a book which can be disseminated to the teachers of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, so that the Teacher can enhance the process of teaching in a better way by using these concrete Modules as per the present Education Scenario.
