Port Blair, Oct 13: The power supply shutdown is sought by NHIDCL for carrying out the work of National Highway from 12 Km to 45 Km in the areas starting from Beodnabad up to Ferrargunj. Due to this the power supply will be affected for few hours during day time and power curtailment will be carried out as and when required on rotational basis, in the rural South Andaman area from Beodnabad to Ferrargunj.
