Port Blair, Oct 12: For the benefit of students, the Warehouse of IGNOU situated at Shadipur, Port Blair will function on Saturday and Sunday, October 2017 from 10 am to 5 pm. The study material (books) of the IGNOU is being distributed to students, by hand, at Warehouse. Recently, the IGNOU, HQ, New Delhi has decided to close the Warehouse during mid October.
Accordingly the Port Blair- IGNOU Warehouse will permanently be closed with effect from 15 October 2017. In this situation, to facilitate the students, the IGNOU warehouse will function 14 and 15 October 2017 (Saturday and Sunday). As some of students are yet to collect their study material, in spite of SMS sent from IGNOU Regional Centre. As a last chance, the warehouse is providing the books even on last day of its closing operation. All the IGNOU registered learners, both fresh admission-July 2017 and re-registration-July 2017, are requested to collect the material from IGNOU Warehouse, behind Shadipur post office, Port Blair (Phone 211088) immediately.
