Port Blair, Oct 12: Miss Pranati A Shendye and Master Hoshang Nirek N Chauhan, Students from Navy Children School, Port Blair, have been selected for participating in the India International Science Festival (IISF). The event is being organized at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and Anna University Chennai from 13 to 16 Oct 17, under the aegis of Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Earth Science. During the event students will get exposure to interact with scientists, participate in talks, discussions and quiz competitions. They will get hands on experience in conduct of various science experiments, visit laboratories and planetarium. The students left Port Blair on 12 Oct 17 with best wishes from the people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
