Port Blair, Oct 11: Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament, A & N Islands on behalf of all party workers has condoled the sudden death of Late A.K.Lingavelu S/o Alandur Kannappan at the age of 90 yrs at Chennai. He was the founder member and first State President of Bharatiya Janta Party in A & N Islands. Till his last breath he remained as a dedicated soldier of the BJP.
His elder son Mr. L Moorthy continues with legacy of his father and is presently an active leader of BJP in the Islands and also is a nominated councillor of PBMC. Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, M.P. has further prayed almighty for giving strength to the family members to bear the irreparable loss.
