Port Blair, Oct 09: A two days (26th September to 27th September) Interstate Regional Athletic Meet was organized by Vidya Bharti Odisha and held at Madhusudhan Nagar, District Cuttack, Odisha at inaugural function Mr. Badri Narayan Patraji (State Education Minister, Odisha) called as a Chief guest and Mr. Akash Das (MLA) as a guest of honour of the event and in this event five states (Odisha, Dakshan bang, Uttar bang, Sikkim and Andaman & Nicobar islands) participated. SSVM feels happy to inform all the parents of Sarawasti Shishu Vidhya Mandir Secondary School (E.M.), Prothrapur, Port Blair and the people of Andaman & Nicobar islands that the lone Institution of Sarawasti Shishu Vidhya Mandir participated in Interstate Regional Athletic Meet and among this 6 students of Sarawasti Shishu Vidhya Mandir Secondary School (E.M.) won 18 medals in various events and secured First position marching Troop, these Students were escorted by P.E.T Teacher Mr. T. Duryodhan and Miss. Priti Anand and this Gala Athletic Meet concluded with a chief Guest Mr. Chandra Sarthi Behera (State Sports & Youths Minister, odisha) and Mr. Prita rajan Ghadee (MLA) as a guest of honour of the closing Ceremony. The team brought laurels to the institution to earn a good name for parents whom sponsored their wards to take part in such a venture.
