Port Blair, Oct 03: The study material warehouse of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) situated near Shadipur, Port Blair is providing printed books (Self-Learning material) to IGNOU students of A & N Islands, by hand. Nearly 5000 students per year use to get the print material, by hand, from the warehouse. Recently, IGNOU- HQ New Delhi has decided to close the Regional Centre, Warehouse by mid October, 2017. Accordingly, the Port Blair Warehouse of IGNOU will be completing its dispatch/distribution operations by 15 October, 2017 (Sunday).
Hence,all the students of July-2017 academic session (both fresh admission and Re-registration) are requested to immediately collect their study material from IGNOU Warehouse, Shadipur, Port Blair, (Ph.
No-03192-211088). In this regard, the RC- Port Blair has also sent SMS to all its registered students.
