Port Blair, Oct 01: A delegation of YCCI, A&N Island comprising of Mr. Tanveer Singh, President, Mr. Sashank Puria, General Secretary, M.A Tamheed, Joint Secretary & Vivek Lal Executive Member and Mr. Bharat Sharma, President Island Tourist Boat Association along with the Member of Parliament Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray called on the Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping, Mr. Nitin Gadkari and discussed about various issues related to road connectivity, terrible condition of the ATR road and city roads.
Issues related to closure of tourist boats were also discussed. The Minister assured to intervene in the matter and provide suitable relief in the matter.
The Minister also welcomed the YCCI delegation by presenting a book penned by him along with his autograph on it.
He appreciated the fact that the youths of these Islands are concerned about the infrastructure of the Islands and also applauded the efforts and ideology of the youth for coming forward and behind forming the apex body of YCCI, A&N Islands. He also informed about his upcoming trip to A & N Islands.
