Port Blair, Sep 21: The State convenor, Aam Aadmi Party, Mr. Sanjay Meshack has urged Lt. Governor of A & N islands to consider few genuine points for students of community College, Ferrargunj.
In the letter addressed to Lt. Governor of the islands Mr. Meshack has highlighted issues pertaining to the Students of Community college Ferragunj that the Students who have passed Level I and Level II should be issued certificates for the session 2015-16 & 2016- 17. Secondly he informed Inclusion of Community skill diploma in RR of all the respectively department posts.
Further informing in his letter he said while completion of Level III, it should be equivalent to ITI certificate, also stipend should be issued on per day as per attendance basis.
Tyre retreading unit of State transport service should be removed from the present site as they use to pollute the entire area specially Community college, Ferrargunj, he said.
Mr. Meshack also requested for the DG sets to be installed in Community College, Ferrargunj and also requested for sending Students of Community College for training in mainland.
Further informing he said that Shortage of classrooms and lab for new admissions of students should be made as per the requirement.
