Port Blair, September 14: The Law and Order Situation in the City is totally under control and District Administration has assured the General Public that they are there to listen and look after their grievances.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha today, the District Magistrate, South Andaman, Mr Udit Prakash Rai said that the situation is under control now but the Administration will take strict action against those protesters who were involved in unlawful activities yesterday in the protest at Raj Niwas.
The District Magistrate said that till now the Andaman Nicobar Police has registered two FIRs and many have already been arrested and hearing against them is on.
“Especially Youths are urged not to involve in any unlawful activities otherwise strict action will be taken against them which will harm them in their career,” said the DM.
