Port Blair, Sep 07: The Police Training School, Prothrapur, A&N Islands has organized one day course on “S” (Strict & Sensitive) of Smart Policing on 01.09.2017 for in-service Police personnel for improving efficiency, promptness, response and techno-Savvy policing during their in-service, under the supervision of Smt Usha Rangnani, IPS, Principal, PTS. During the course Shri Nishant Gupta, DANIPS, SDPO S/A, Shri Michal Raj, DANIPS, Vice Principal PTS, Shri T. Sebastian, (Rtd. Dy.SP A & N Police) as well as the faculty members of Police Training School Inspector R.K Sharma, SI DK Seal delivered informative lectures. Altogether, 16 police personnel of A & N Police of different ranks participated in this course, interacted and enriched themselves for initiating steps towards effective implementation of Smart Policing. Shri Michal Raj, DANIPS, Vice Principal, PTS concluded the training programme by emphasizing on the objectives of the course and its thorough implementation.
