Port Blair, June 24: The election to the managing committee of Consumers Co-operative Stores Ltd. was conducted today throughout A & N Islands. Elections were peacefully conducted at different election booths set up across the Islands. There are around 19,000 share holders of CCS Ltd.
The election started at 9.00 am today and ended at 4.00pm. No report of any kind of major violence was reported during the elections. It has been reported that counting will be carried out on 1st July 2012 at Girls’ School.
