Port Blair, Aug 20: A review meeting of District planning Committee, South Andaman will be held in the Conference Hall of Zilla Parishad on 21st & 22nd August, 2017 to Review Action taken on the recommendations made by the DPC in its meeting held during Dec., 2016 and shall also progress of Annual Action Plan 2017-18 during the first quarter ending June, 2017 and recurring and non-recurring items of expenditure as per the sectoral outlay in B.E. 2017-18.
Mr. Jaydeep Kumar Dey, Adhyaksh, (Chairperson, District Planning Committee, South Andaman) shall preside over the meeting which will be attended by all DPC Members i.e. Member of Parliament, A&N islands, Zilla Parishad Members, Chairperson and Councilor of PBMC, Secretary (Planning), Secretary (Finance), Secretary (Panchayat) of A&N Admn., Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad being the Ex-officio Secretary, DPC, Special invitees i.e. Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District, Pramukhs of Panchayat Samities with in South Andaman District. In addition to this, Heads of Plan Implementing Govt. Departments and other Officers/Official of A&N Administration will also attend the said meeting.
