Port Blair, June 23: The three-day ‘monsoon festival’ will conclude with a valedictory function to be held at 6:30pm at Govt. Girls Sr. Secondary School Campus here tomorrow (June24). The Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. Jalaj Shrivastava, will declare the event closed and will distribute prizes to the winners of singing competition. The Secretary Tourism, Mr. Satish Mathur will give away prizes to the winners of cycle race and water sports events organised as part of the three day festival. The festival is being organised by the Election Department in association with Directorate of Tourism, Transport and Banks.
