Port Blair, August 11: The Ograbraj Police Unit once again to curb the illegal activities in the area is keeping strict vigilance in the entire area following which on credible information, a team of Ograbraj Police Unit has seized huge quantity of liquor from the possession of accused Suck Singh, 25 years, resident of Tushnabad.
As per reports, after the credible information received the team consisting of HC Vinitha, PC Mohd Azhar, PC SK Das and PC Beronika under the overall supervision of Inspector Shabana Haneef, who recently took over the charge of SHO Ograbraj conducted the raid in the house of the accused and seized around 4 number of 750 ml IMFL and 1 number of loose IMFL with left out alcohol of 200ml.
Sources said that the accused Suck Singh was arrested on the spot after all codal formalities but the accused later got bail.
