Diglipur, Aug 10: The CHC Diglipur observed National De-worming Day today at Diglipur along with the rest of UT.
In Diglipur this programme of Mass drug administration of Albendazole tablets/syrup has been launched at Govt Primary School at Subhash Bazaar today morning.
Dr Nicholas of CHC Diglipur, Deputy Education Officer In-Charge and Head Mistress GPS participated in Launching Ceremony. They administered the students by providing the tablets in the school premises.
All preschool and school age children (enrolled, Non-enrolled) between 1-19 years receive treatment for intestinal worms. Schools and Anganwadi centres instructed with this programme.
The unregistered children especially preschool children and non-enrolled in schools will be administered Albendazol tablet/syrup by ASHAs of concerned areas. The left-out students will be administered by Mop up Day (MUD) on 17th August 2017.
