Port Blair, Aug 9: Monsoon Festival – 2017 will be organized from 13th to 15th August, 2017 at Corbyn’s Cove Beach, Port Blair with the concept to make Andaman Island a 365 days destination. Arrangements are also being made for public services such as issue of Learning Driving License, State Transport Bus Passes, Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC), AADHAR card etc by the respective department. There will also be counters of different Banks where general public can take the benefit of opening new bank accounts linking their AADHAR card etc.
Interested Govt. organization/Service providers may submit their requirement of Stall / space to the Tourism Department and the Private entrepreneurs may contact Smti Vandana George, Assistant Engineer- III Works, PBMC (9434282019) for Stall / Space etc. As an added attraction ‘Rain Dance’ competition for the Monsoon enthusiast will be conducted during the festival.
