Port Blair, Aug 08: The Mahila Morcha A&N BJP organised a programme on the auspicious occasion “Raksha Bandhan” at Dairy Farm Community Hall on 08.08.2017. The State President BJP Shri. Vishal Jolly was the Chief Guest, Smti. Anusia Devi State President Mahila Morcha, Smti. Sheela Singh Ex-Chairperson PBMC, Shri. L. Moorty Nominated Councillor, Shri. R. Damodaran Ex-Chairman PBMC, Shri. Amit Manhotara District President, K. Paramasivam, National Council Member BJYM, Party Workers, Sangh Parivar, Councillors, PBMC Sanitary workers and general public. The A&N BJP Mahila Morcha members tied Rakhi to Shri. Vishal Jolly, PBMC Sanitary workers and other present in the programme and expressed brotherhood. Shri. Vishal Jolly expressed his gratitude to the A&N BJP Mahila Morcha members for arranging a unique programme to respect the PBMC Sanitary workers and developing brotherhood. He also informed that it is pleasure to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with sanitary workers, who keep the city and safeguard A&N Islands from diseases. He added that the sanitary workers execute Swachh Bharat Abhiyan daily at A&N Islands.
