Port Blair, Aug 06: The Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM) (formerly Govt. College, Port Blair) will be completing 50 years of its existence during the year 2017. Thousands of young people have graduated from this pioneer institution during the last 50 years and are occupying important positions in the society. It is proposed to have a grand, year-long Golden Jubilee Celebration during 2017-18.
In order to chalk out programmes for the Golden Jubilee celebration, a meeting of former students of JNRM (formerly Govt. College), Port Blair is scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. on 12th August, 2017(Saturday) at the JNRM Auditorium, Port Blair.
The Executive Committee meeting of the JNRM Alumni Association which met at JNRM, Port Blair on 5.8.2017 has appealed to all the former students of JNRM (formerly Govt. College) to make it convenient to attend the above meeting/register themselves and give their valuable suggestions for the successful conduct of the Golden Jubilee celebration.
