Port Blair, July 31: On 29th July 2017 the 35th Installation Ceremony of Rotary Club ofPort Blair took place at Hotel TSG Emerald View, Phoenix Bay PortBlair. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Smt. Rashmi Singh, Secretary, Social Welfare, A& N Administration. The guest of honour was Shri Som Naidu, Director, Directorate of RD, PRI.
The occasion marked the handing over of charge for the year 2017-18 toRtn. SrawanAgarwala as President by handing over of the Club Charter by Rtn Surinder Chani who led the club as President for the year2016-17. Rtn. Sagar Khurana took over the charge as club Secretary from Rtn Rajesh Anand.
The outgoing President Surinder Chani welcomed the gathering and Rtn Rajesh Anand presented the club activities during the year 2016-17 bymeans of a power point presentation.The Chief Guest Smt. Rashmi Singh appreciated the efforts of the Cluband offered her full support in all the club activities that the clubwill take in this year.The program ended with vote of thanks by the new club secretary Rtn.
