Port Blair, July 25: A solemn function has been organized on 26th July 2017 at “ Kargil War Memorial” maintained by Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair to commemorate Kargil War Heroes along with other parts of the country to develop a sense of patriotism and sacrifice among the trainees and students.
On this occasion, Prof. JagdishMukhi, Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and all other officers of the Administration, DefencePersonnels, trainees and students shall pay tribute to the Kargil war Heroes. The function includes observing two-minutes silence, guard of honor and laying of wreath at the War Memorial.
All interested citizens of Port Blair are requested to pay tribute to Kargil War Heroes on this occasion.
