As everybody knows that in remote Islands, where it is impossible to get newspapers daily, radio news is the only source of daily information and this is the reason why listening Radio News has become a ritual in all remote Islands. But often it has been found that due to various technical reasons radio news go blank. Recently on Friday the morning news was transmitted only for five minutes, which means public could listen only half of the news bulletin. This is sad to note that the AIR Port Blair even being a decade old institution has failed to ensure uninterrupted news presentation for public of these remote Islands.
