Port Blair, July 23: A Rat Snake of length 1.5 meter was rescued from the house of the General Secretary, NSUI, MA Sajid situated at Junglighat this morning at around 09:00 AM.
As per reports, a pair of Rat Snake was roaming near the house since last three days and today both the snakes entered the house of the person following which he immediately informed the Wildlife Division of Forest.
On information a team of Wildlife Division immediately reached the spot and got successful to rescue one of the Rat Snakes. The snake was 1.5 kgs in weight.
