Mayabunder, Jul 21: ANIDCO has recently operated a Petrol & Diesel Pump at Deopur (Webi) Village in Mayabunder region of North Andaman.
The newly opened ANIDCO Petrol & Diesel Pump brought a great sense of relief for the people of the region because before opening of this Petrol & Diesel Pump, consumers had to pay excessively high at the Local Petrol & Diesel Outlets.
But, recently it has been observed that due to continuous power failure in the Mayabunder region it became very difficult to get petrol from ANIDCO’s Petrol Pump.
It is learnt that the Deopur villagers, commuters & PRI’s are suffering a lot every day due to these power failures. After opening of ANIDCO Petrol & Diesel Pump most of the Pvt. Outlets have shutdown their business and now people have to travel all the way to this Petrol & Diesel Pump for fuel and often reached at the pump they find it without power.
Therefore, now the villagers are demanding for a Generator set at the Petrol & Diesel Pump immediately, so that during the failure of power the Petrol Pump could function without making the general public suffer.
