Port Blair, Jul 21: Revised method of Property Tax has been implemented by Port Blair Municipal Council w.e.f 01.04.2017. Till 31.07.2017, a special rebate of 10% is allowed for early payment. For the convenience of the residents of Port Blair, the PBMC will be setting up a special camp at PBMC’s Water Section, Dollygunj on 24/07/2017 and 25/07/2017 between 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM and 3.00 PM to 4.00 PM.
Therefore, all the citizens are requested to clear their dues of Property tax before 31.07.2017 and avail the special rebate of 10%. This rebate will not be available after 31st July and the citizens who miss date will not only suffer financial loss but may expose themselves for actions as per the Property Tax Bye-laws 1999.
