Diglipur, 19 July: One Fishing Engine dinghy with three fishermen reportedly capsized near Kishorinagar village at Diglipur yesterday. As per reports three fishermen went to fishing from Kishorinagar gram Panchayat yesterday morning at 8 am.
Sources said that when they reached in the open sea, huge wave hit their engine dinghy, which overturned the dinghy. Bappa Roy s/o Late Rupchand Roy aged about 22 years r/o Kishorinagar anyhow reached to the shore but his father Samar Roy and Rajkumar Mondal reportedly died in this accident. One of the victim’s body was recovered yesterday and another one was recovered today.
As per reports, bad weather conditions were the reason behind the accident. The PS Kalighat is investigating the matter further.
