Port Blair, Jul 10: On 04/07/2017, the Police Party of PS Rangat consisting of SI Regan Issac, SI Masuma Begum, PCs Jaydev Halder, N. Abdul Anish, Y. Srinivas Rao, Biplob Das, Kayaan Mohammed, Sushila Kujur, Sammi Begum, Gyana Sehkar headed by Insp. P.K. Abdul Arif, SHO PS Rangat succeeded in recovering 220 Bottles of 750 ml IMFL from the possession of one Thanapalan Ramu S/o. Shri V. Ramu (35) yrs, shopkeeper R/o. Rangat. The aforesaid person was arrested U/s. 32 Reg. III of 1876 and a case has been registered at PS Rangat against him. The aforesaid person was also involved in 04 Excise cases of PS Rangat earlier. Subsequently, another Police Party of OP Long Island headed by HC K.K. Singh, I/C OP Long Island recovered 08 Kgs. Illicit Handia from the possession one Smti Halina Kujur, W/o. Alexus Toppo, R/o.
