Port Blair, June 20: It is brought to the notice of the consumers, general public and Government departments that the major overhauling of Unit No. IV, 2.5 MW Bergen DG Set at Chatham Power House was long due. The service engineer from Bergen Engines India Pvt. Limited, New Delhi has arrived on 20.6.2012 to carry out major overhauling. The shortage of power occurred due to the non-availability of this set will be adjusted by exercising rotational load shedding in the peak hours if necessary, in and around Port Blair and South Andaman area till the overhauling work is completed. The major overhauling processes will start from 21.6.2012 and it will take at least three weeks time.
