Port Blair, June 04: The renowned literati, President Awardee of Andaman Islands, Smti. D.M.Savitri has been awarded with the “Dr. Maharaj Krishna Jain Smiriti Honour” for the year 2017, for her outstanding contribution towards Hindi poetry and literature by the Purvottar Hindi Akadami, Shillong on 27th May 2017.
During the honorary event, the most recent collection of poems by Smti. D.M.Savitri- “Abhi Zindagi Baki Hai” was also released in the presence of distinguished dignitaries. Smti. Savitri has dedicated this book to her mother.
