Port Blair, May 28: High wave warning has been issued by INCOIS for Andamans. As per details in Andaman region High waves in the range of 3.0 – 4.4 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 28-05-2017 to 23:30 hours of 30-05-2017 along the west coast of Andaman Islands between Ten Degree Channel and Coco Channel.
In Nicobar region high waves in the range of 3.0 – 3.9 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 28-05-2017 to 23:30 hours of 30-05-2017 along the west coast of Nicobar Islands between Ten Degree Channel and Great Channel.
Meanwhile local Cautionary Signal No. III hoisted at Port Blair Port. The general public is advised to take precautionary measures and in case of any emergency contact in the following phone numbers of state control room, district control room and emergency operation centres.
