Port Blair, May 26: Jan Kranti Party Andaman & Nicobar held a public meeting at Tiranga Park on 25th May, 2017. Prominent Speaker of JKP, A & N which included their Working president Shri K. Venkat and Vice President’s Shri J.N. Biswakarma and Col. (Retd) K.V. Cherian, General Secretary Shri Prakash Minj, Treasurer Shri Shrawan Mehara, Secretary Prabal Ram voice their demands which included the introduction of State Assembly, Restart “Jantha Darbar” interaction of Lt. Governor at regular intervals, introduce inner line permit system, demand central scales of wages for DRL / DRM’s, re-introduce Sugar and wheat to all through PDS, regularization of all encroachment prior to 2007, avoid load shedding by introducing alternative methods, reduction in Air fare in line with subsidy of cost of Air Traffic fuel (ATF), ST status for Chota Nagpuri (Ranchi Community), 15% reservation for Island Born, Construction of new Cargo Terminal, construction of ATR Road.
