Port Blair, May 24: The Chakroborty Multispecialty Hospital (CMSH) has been nominated for the prestigious award of medical sphere of Rose of Paracelcus by Socrates international award committee and European medical Academy.
The award is given for maintenance of quality of highest standard, excellent patient feedback and cutting edge work in medical field.
Dr S Chakraborty has been invited to Switzerland on 3-4 July for presentation.
The award helps in recognition of quality health care and boosts medical tourism by helping the clients in identification of hospitals with standard care givers and infrastructure.
CMSH has made some outstanding contribution in the islands like implanted permanent pacemaker in the oldest patient of Asia(104 years), angioplasty in complete total occlusion of RCA in a European tourist, non surgical management of liver abscess in a German, endoscopically esophageal stent implantation among others.
The above treatment done specially in a place which is 1200 km from mainland India has made it immensely laudable.
