Port Blair, May 11: The newly constructed Fish Market cum Net Repairing Shed built at the cost of ` 15,70,791/- at Wright Myo, Ward No. 1 was inaugurated by Shri. Udit Prakash Rai, IAS, Secretary, RD, PRIs, & ULBs/ Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman and Shri. Ramesh Verma, IAS, Secretary (Agri./AH.VS/Fisheries), A & N Administration. Earlier a warm welcome was extended to Chief Guest Shri. Udit Prakash Rai and Shri. Ramesh Verma on their arrival at Wright Myo to honour their service and dignity. Addressing the gathering the Chief Guest Shri. Udit Prakash Rai appreciated the pace of development in Gram Panchayat Mannarghat. Speaking on the occasion Shri. Ramesh Verma hailed the Gram Panchayat for timely completion of Fish Market. The Secretary further assured the Gram Panchayat for providing of Deep Freezer and Installation of Ice Plant at the said Market. Speaking on the occasion Shri. O. Bashir, Pradhan Gram Panchayat Mannarghat expressed gratitude to Chief Guest Shri. Udit Prakash Rai and he also expressed his gratitude to Shri. Ramesh Verma for providing abled meaningful support to the Gram Panchayat and to its inhabitant for development activities. Shri. O. Bashir also appealed to gathering to accelerate the Swachh Bharat Mission Campaign. The function was ended by vote of thanks given by Shri. Usman.
