Port Blair, May 07: Shri. Udit Prakash Rai, IAS, Secretary, RD, PRIs & ULBs/ Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman laid the foundation stone of Community Toilet at Mannarghat – II on 06/05/2017 in the presence of Shri. O. Bashir, Pradhan Gram Panchayat Mannarghat, Shri. Rajender Pal, Block Development Officer, Ferrar Gunj and large number of gathering.
The estimate cost of said project worked out to be Rs 2,33,212/- (Rupess Two lakh thirty three thousand two hundred and twelve only). And it would be a step forward to make a Mannarghat Gram Panchayat Open Defecation Free.
The Pradhan expressed his deep gratitude to Chief Guest for Monetary Assistance and furtherance of Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) in Mannarghat as well as across the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
