Port Blair, May 02: Yuvasakthi, NGO has organized the inauguration function of goat farming at Namunaghar Village. The inaugural function was started by Mr.Subramani Co-Founder of Yuvasakthi who welcomed all the officials of NABARD, Pradhan, SHG’s / JLG members and villagers.
Later, the DGM, NABARD, Mr. Murali Mohan addressed the SHG’s/ JLG’s members and goat farmers, he suggested the farmers to the important of the goatery farming project.
Mr.Vaidhyanathan, AGM, and Mr.Kothandapani, AGM had given their suggestion and adoption of goat farming. They suggested the farmers to accept the goatery farming, it is very easy to maintain, feeding fast breeding and growing.
Mr. Jai Prakash Manager of NABARD said about the goatery. He explained about the farming and involvement of SHG’s. He said that SHG members can develop this project they can act as a key role about this project. It is less expenditure and huge benefited project.
During this inaugural function near about 50 SHG’s/ JLG’s members were participated. The SHG’s/ JLG’s members also interact with NABARD officials. The officials are given their views and suggestions.
During this inaugural Programme the Namunaghar Village Pradhan, Mrs, Preetima Kerketta also present and given their views and suggestions to the members.
