Port Blair, May 02: A Summer Camp for the Children of Ferrangunj Tehsil is being organized by Surabhi an NGO from 01st May to 06th May 2017. Smt. Kiran Tigga Chairperson UT Commission for Protection of Child Rights was the chief guest on the inaugural session wherein she spoke on length regarding Child Rights. She also discussed in detail regarding Right to Education, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, Child Marriage Act and motivated the children to be aware of their rights and take up initiatives wherein their rights are safeguarded.
