Port Blair, Apr 23: Closing Ceremony of the Volley ball tournament organised by the Swaraj-Shaheed Sangh, Beadnabad was held on 23rd April 2017 at 4.30 PM in Subhash Ground, Beadnabad – which was graced by Smt. Indira Devi, Principal, Govt. Sr. Secondary School, Rangachang as the Chief Guest.
Shri Mohan Nair, Up-Pramukh of the area was present on the occasion as the Guest of Honour while Shri Anadiranjan Biswas, Editor, News Spotlight and Shri Sanjay Meshack, Councilor, PBMC (Ward No.23) were the Special Guests.
The winner and runners-up of the Volley Ball Tournament for Boys were PLAY BOY (Kamaraj Nagar) and SAPA (Rangachang No.5) respectively; and for Girls were Rangachang School Team and Volunteers Team respectively.
1st, 2nd and 3rd prize-winners of 10 KMs Cross Country Race for Boys were N. Eswaran, Anil Ekka and Jai Shankar; and for Girls were Preeti Minj, Aarti and Sunita respectively. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize-winners of 05 KMs Cross Country Race for Boys were Ajit Kumar, Michael and S. Vijay Kumar and for Girls were Kaviya, Arthi and AM Pavithra Jai Laxmi.
The Chief Guest and other distinguished guests gave away the prizes to all the winners. Vote of thanks was proposed by Shri Laxman Kumar, General Secretary, Swaraj-Shaheed Sangh.
